Wizard Wars

The Wizard Wars have begun! Again! After a few too many comments about thinning beards, unkempt apprentices, and diminutive towers, a gathering of great and powerful wizards has escalated to a war so extreme it threatens to tear the fabric of reality itself!

Wizard Wars is a game about creative spellcasting. You and your friends will add aspects to a spell as it goes around the table getting more complicated. When one player can't quickly decide a way to continue it, or doesn't have any cards they can play, they lose the round. The pace is quick, and the spells rapidly become ridiculous.  Are you prepared to don the hat of a mighty Wizard?

Wizard Wars is a game created for the One Page RPG Jam 2026. You will require the 1-10 cards of a standard deck to play, and these rules. The game is designed to be presented in a trifold pamphlet.  Flavor and optional rules are on the front of the printout, and all the rules needed to play are on the backside. They will make up the inside of the pamphlet.
